Watkins Glen Offers Pit Passes in 2000

Watkins Glen, NY (December 14, 1999) - Watkins Glen marketing director, Roger Curtis, announced that Watkins Glen will be offering fans a Pit Access Credential for both NASCAR weekends at The Glen during the 2000 season. Fans will have the option to purchase a Pit Access Credential that will allow access to the pits anytime during the course of the weekend, including first round qualifying for the Global Crossing @ The Glen NASCAR Winston Cup Series race August 10-13 and pre-race ceremonies for both NASCAR weekends.

"The Pit Pass makes an excellent stocking stuffer and holiday gift idea," said Curtis. "These special NASCAR credentials have never been available to the public before and we are very excited that fans at Watkins Glen will now have the opportunity to see their Heroes of NASCAR up close."

Pit Access Credentials will be accepted throughout the weekend and guests will be allowed on Pit Road up to one hour prior to races. Credentials will be limited to the first 1,000 guests for each event. NASCAR regulations limit access to those 18 years of age or older and dress codes will be enforced.
