Ragan on racing at Texas Motor Speedway:
“Texas is a fast track, you definitely have to be on top of your game there and last year we weren’t where we needed to be. We definitely didn’t have the runs we needed last year, but this year our mile and a half program has gotten so much better. We’ve had strong runs at Vegas and California which are the same distance so hopefully we can go out there and contend for another top-10 run, maybe even a top five.”

Crew Chief Jimmy Fennig on racing at Texas Motor Speedway:
“We are taking the same car to Texas which we got a top-10 finish with at Las Vegas. Last year we struggled at Texas, but David has definitely improved this year at the mile and a half tracks, and going to these tracks a third and fourth time in the Cup car has definitely helped increase his confidence level. We had a great run last weekend in Martinsville and I really think we can carry that momentum over into Texas this weekend.”
