Ragan on racing at Martinsville Speedway:
“Martinsville was the site of my second ever Sprint Cup career start. It was definitely a learning experience and I don’t think I made a lot of friends that day, but I’ve come a long way since then. I really like short tracks and going back to these tracks a second and third time around has just added to my confidence level and as long as we are able to just keep putting together solid runs I think we’ll be in for a good year.”
Crew Chief Jimmy Fennig on racing at Martinsville Speedway:
“Hopefully we get some better weather this weekend than we’ve been having. We had a really good car in Bristol and qualifying got rained out so we had to start 24th when we could have qualified much better than that. Martinsville is another short track and David does well on short tracks, so hopefully, if everything comes together we should have a good run. We really need some solid point runs, we are always thinking about the points and need to be aware of them each weekend.”
