Reed Sorenson and No. 41 Target Dodge Team (NSCS)
Reed at Martinsville: Sorenson’s best finish in Cup competition at Martinsville was the first time he raced a NSCS car at the Virginia track in April 2006, when he scored a 12th-place finish (started 25th). He seems to fair better during his April efforts at Martinsville. Last year he finished 18th (started 28th) in the April 1 race and then followed up with a 41st-place finish (started 28th) in October. His first and only NNS run at Martinsville (which was in June 2006) resulted in a fourth-place finish. Altogether, he has four starts in NSCS competition at the short track, averaging a 24th-place starting position and 26.5-finishing position.
Points Report: Sorenson currently sits 25th (tied with David Reutimann) in the overall NSCS driver point standings. He is only 134 points out of 12th place – the final cutoff position for the Chase – and 321 points out of first place.

CHASSIS INFO
No. 41 Target Dodge (NSCS): Chassis #818. This chassis has not been raced by the Target team yet this season. In fact, it is the newest chassis in the No. 41 stable. Sorenson and team tested the chassis at Caraway earlier this month.
