Ragan on racing at California Speedway:
“We should have a solid run this weekend in California. It’s a great track; there are several different
grooves you can run depending on how your car is handling, which gives you different options to pass
people. In the fall the temperatures were in the 100’s outside, which made tire wear and the heat inside the
car almost unbearable. Luckily, this time around it will be much more comfortable for racing. We had two
solid runs there last year so hopefully we can improve on them this year.”
Crew Chief Jimmy Fennig on racing at California Speedway:
“Last weekend was pretty disappointing for David and the team. We brought a really strong car down to
Daytona and had a good run going during the race; unfortunately the end result was not what we were
looking for. This weekend we are bringing a brand new chassis to California and I think we should be pretty
good. We had a solid test there and it’s a track David had two solid runs at last year.”
