Team: No. 26 Crown Royal Ford Fusion

McMurray on racing at Bristol Motor Speedway:
"Bristol is one of my favorite tracks that we visit each season. Here and Martinsville, and the road courses, I’d have to say are my favorite places to race. We ran really well here last March when we debuted the “Car of Tomorrow.” Since then, I think we have come a really long way with both the car and engineering that goes into the new car.

“Bristol is one of the most exciting races not just for the fans, but for the drivers as well. Everything happens so quickly at Bristol that you have to be on your toes at all times. The most important thing at Bristol is track position, if you can start up front, for the most part you can run up front all day. That last thing you want is to drop back in the pack because it’s so easy to get lapped at a place like Bristol.

“Hopefully we’ll have another solid run at Bristol like we did last March and move the No. 26 Crown Royal team back up in the points a little bit. After the bad luck we’ve had to start the season, we need a strong run at Bristol to help us rebound.”

Crew Chief Larry Carter on racing at Bristol Motor Speedway:
“Bristol is a great track to race at and a fun track to setup for each season. I think everyone enjoys going to Bristol. We are taking the same car to Bristol that we ran there last year, and also at Dover. The last time this car saw the track was a top-10 finish in Dover, and hopefully, with a bit of luck we can have the same type of finish this weekend. This season we haven’t gotten off to the start that I was hoping for; because of a wreck, bad luck or the car just didn’t run well, this isn’t what we were expecting. We know the road ahead of us and what we have to do to run better, now we just have to go out there and get it done. I’d like for that to start this weekend in Bristol.”
