Sprint Showdown - Toyota Qualifying Quotes

BRIAN VICKERS, No. 83 Red Bull Toyota Camry, Red Bull Racing Team
Starting Position: 2nd
Can you talk about your pit crew winning the challenge last night?
"They did an awesome job. They had the worst lane all night -- I keep bringing that up. It's the way the cars were positioned and I keep bringing it up. They have not complained about it one time. I'm so proud of them, but I want to throw it out there for them. They did an awesome job, stayed focused all night. So far, so good. I'm really proud of this whole Red Bull crew so far.

What is your strategy for the Showdown tomorrow night?
"Win. I don't know about the win or wreck part. Obviously it's an all out situation with winner take all. I don't know if I want to wreck big. Wrecking big in this sport is not very fun."

What would it mean to get into the All-Star race tomorrow night?
"Starting up front makes all the difference in the world. It would mean a ton just to be able to get into the All-Star race, but also to get into the race for the pit crew guys. The did an awesome job last night and they're pumped and they really want to be in that race as well."

AJ ALLMENDINGER, No. 84 Red Bull Toyota Camry, Red Bull Racing Team
Starting Position: 4th
Do you feel that your qualifying run put you in a good position for the Showdown?
"It was alright. The guys did a good job. In practice we struggled and they fought hard so we weren't really sure where the car was going to be so I was pretty pleased with that. I would've liked to get a little bit more out of it but hopefully that will put us near the front which is where you need to start for this race."

What is your strategy for tomorrow night?
"Run hard and either get in or wreck big."

DAVE BLANEY, No. 22 Caterpillar Toyota Camry, Bill Davis Racing
Starting Position: 6th
Did your qualifying run put you in a good spot for the Showdown?
It was good. Not quite good enough but hopefully that will land us in the top three rows. That would be a good starting spot to have a chance tomorrow I think. We'll see if that hangs on. It depends if the sun comes out or if it gets cool or what it does."

What is your strategy for the Showdown tomorrow?
"You just do all you can do. In short races you've got to go quick but you can't go crazy and take yourself out of it like I've seen them so many times. You're going to have to be good. Historically one of those 20-lap runs will go all green so you're going to have to be good over 20 laps to have a chance at it."

Do you have a lot of confidence going into this weekend after your performance at Darlington?
"I do and mainly because we had a really good test here and I felt like the car ran good here. I thought that's what helped us at Darlington and I felt like we'd run good here too."

MICHAEL WALTRIP, No. 55 NAPA Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing

DAVID REUTIMANN, No. 00 Aaron's Dream Machine Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing
Starting Position: 17th

J.J. YELEY, No. 96 DLP HDTV Toyota Camry, Hall of Fame Racing
Starting Position: 20th
