Alba Colon, GM Racing Program Manager for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series: "We were very pleased with the performance of our Impala SS race car at Las Vegas. Our Chevy teams did their homework and were definitely up to the first contest on a 1.5-mile track.

"Although Atlanta is also a 1.5-mile track, it presents a unique set of challenges as the fastest track on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series circuit. NOTES:

Of the 22 tracks on the NSCS roster, seven of them are 1.5-mile tracks that will host a total 10 races of the 36 events this season making performance and success on these tracks tantamount to Team Chevy.
