2008 Joe Gibbs Racing Fall FanFest Scheduled for October 10

Stewart, Busch, Hamlin, Logano and Others to be Available for Autographs

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (September 2, 2008) – The seventh annual Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) Fall FanFest will be held on Friday, Oct. 10. Drivers from JGR’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series and driver development teams will be available for autographs at the team’s headquarters in Huntersville from 9 AM to 2 PM.

Tony Stewart, Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano will be on hand, as will JGR development driver Marc Davis.

Funds raised from JGR Fall FanFest will be donated to the Mooresville Soup Kitchen (MSK). The MSK serves a warm, nutritious lunch to those who need food and fellowship, five days a week and on Saturdays during the winter months. MSK is a non denominational, Christian organization whose mission is to provide nourishing meals, fellowship and encouragement to those in need. MSK has been carrying out this mission since 1987 through the generous support of the community. The Soup Kitchen serves more than 20,000 meals annually.

In addition to supporting the Mooresville Soup Kitchen through the funds raised by the event, fans are encouraged to drop off canned food items at marked locations during the event.

Donation lines will open at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 10, where fans may request an autograph from Stewart, Busch, Hamlin or Logano. The first 300 fans requesting a Stewart autograph will be given a bracelet and directed to the appropriate line. The same process will follow for Busch, Hamlin and Logano.

In order to receive an autograph from Stewart, Busch or Hamlin one must make a $20 cash donation. An autograph from Logano will require a $10 cash donation. Fans wishing to receive an autograph from all four drivers will be able to purchase a package for $60. Fans may only receive one wristband per person, per driver and once wristbands sell out for one driver the package deal will no longer be available for purchase. No credit card or check payments will be accepted.

Autograph sessions featuring Busch, Hamlin and Logano are scheduled for 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Stewart’s session will begin at 12:00 p.m. No donation is required for the 11 a.m. autograph session featuring Davis.

In the event of on-track rescheduling due to weather or other uncontrollable proceedings during the Bank of America 500 race weekend at Charlotte, the JGR Fall FanFest is subject to change or cancellation.

Several activities will exist for race fans of all ages attending the JGR Fall FanFest. The Home Depot Kids Workshop will be open, along with live music, a caricature artist, and a clown to entertain children of all ages. Other activities include a silent auction from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. featuring special items donated by JGR and other NASCAR teams, while a raffle with NASCAR-related items will run parallel to the silent auction. Hot dogs, chips and snacks will be available, along with plenty of ice-cold Coca-Cola.

The 2007 Fall FanFest brought out approximately 3,000 fans who generously donated over $30,000 to Cabarrus Victims Assistance Network (CVAN).
