“We haven’t had great finishes, but we’ve had some positive results on the road courses. The key is keeping the racecar on the track,. I like the Dodge Avenger. I think it will be a competitive racecar as we move forward. This will be the car we race the entire 2008 season, so we are trying to learn as much as we can about this racecar.
“You go into a year with a lot of expectations, especially when you are coming off a season that produced six wins and a spot in the Chase for the Championship. It’s been disappointing, but we just keep working on our racecars, trying to make them better. We’ve put in a lot of hours and effort to improve the performance of the Avenger. I think that effort will be seen in the upcoming races where the Avenger is used.”
