Ward on returning to Texas …
“Texas was the second race we made last year with these guys. I think we qualified about 37th and finished 25th. We picked up like seven tenths from practice to qualifying last year so hopefully we will be even better off the truck this time. I’m looking forward to getting back to Texas. It’s a track where I’ve had some pretty good finishes. We’ve all been focused on the COT for the last few weeks with Bristol, Martinsville and the Richmond test and now we are back in a car that we have notes on from last year. Hopefully, we will have a good practice, get a good draw for qualifying and get our State Water Heaters Chevy in the race this weekend”
