David Stremme and the No. 40 Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit Dodge Team Facts:
First Time for Everything: Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit made its presence known in the NASCAR Busch Series this season with CGRFS drivers Reed Sorenson and Scott Pruett, but now it’s on to the big leagues for the debut in the NEXTEL Cup series. This weekend David Stremme will take to the track rocking a new paint scheme in the signature yellow Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit Dodge. Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit has been on board this season for nearly 20 NBS races with the No. 41 Dodge. The No. 41 Dodge captured one win at Gateway International Raceway, two top-5 finishes, four top 10 finishes and one pole.
Chassis: Crew Chief Steve Lane and the No. 40 Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit Dodge team have selected chassis #747 for this weekend. Chassis #747 saw action back in September at New Hampshire International Speedway.
Points Update: Stremme currently sits in the 25th position in the overall NEXTEL Cup Series driver standings with a total of 2930 points. An accident ended his night last weekend at Texas Motor Speedway dropping him one spot in the driver point standings.
When to Watch: The green flag for the Checker Auto Parts 500 presented by Pennzoil is set to wave at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, November 11th. The race will air live on ABC, MRN Radio, and Sirius Satellite Radio channel 128.
