“The past two weeks have given the No. 19 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Avenger team time to make improvements on our COT. Phoenix is a lot different than Bristol or Martinsville, so we’ll have to see how the car performs at the larger track. We think we found out during the Richmond test why we weren’t as competitive at Martinsville, so there will be some changes on our COT when we get to Phoenix. My guys have been working hard on it, and we’re not going to give up by any means.”

In his first race at Phoenix for Evernham Motorsports, Sadler finished 17th.
This will be the second of three races that Sadler will wear a special Autism Awareness Month helmet. The helmet will be auctioned off at the end of April.
Sadler will be picking up some extra laps at Phoenix this weekend as he will run in the Busch Series race for Evernham Motorsports in the No. 9 Lawry’s Dodge.
