  • Firsts: Montoya earned his first NASCAR victory on Sunday in the Busch Series race in Mexico City. It was his seventh Busch Series start of his young NASCAR career. He led 43 laps en-route to the victory in the Telcel-Motorola 200. Montoya is also the first Latino to win in any of the three NASCAR national touring series’. The last non-US driver to win in the Busch Series was Canadian Ron Fellows at Watkins Glen in 2001.
