Ward on returning to Lowe’s …
“We had a fairly decent test here. We brought another car that we weren’t as happy with for the All Star Open and everybody worked really hard but we never did get to where we needed to be and that was disappointing for all of us. But we need to focus on next Thursday. We know we have a good race car and I believe we will have a good motor so we’ve just got to get that thing to go around the race track. If we do, we will be fine and if we don’t we may be on the border. We have to be smart this week and focus on getting the coil binding effort where it needs to be so we can run that one decent lap we need for qualifying. We are very happy to be able to represent the 60th Anniversary of the Air Force during this Memorial Day weekend along with State Water Heaters. I’ve always been proud to support our Armed Forces and I feel very honored to have the privilege of running a tribute for the 60th Anniversary of the Air Force on the hood of our Chevy Monte Carlo this weekend.”
