ELLIOTT SADLER QUOTES:
“We had a top-20 finish at Dover, but we’re not where we want to be with our car of tomorrow program. Now, we’re back to the Dodge Charger this weekend at Kansas. It’s been several races since we competed in the Charger.

“The key is getting the car balanced and handling through the turns. That will be our focus in practice on Friday. We’ve been able to put down a good qualifying lap the last few races, but on raceday we haven’t been able to make the adjustments needed to keep the car hooked up with the track. Many teams are experiencing the same problem. We don’t have the answer right now, but with the hard work my team is putting in, we will find it.”

QUICK FACTS

  • Sadler has an average start of eighth in his last four races at Kansas.
  • He qualified ninth in his first Kansas start with Gillett Evernham Motorsports Dodge last season.
  • In the last six races the No. 19 Dodge Dealers/UAW team has an average start of 10th.
  • Sadler has yet to receive a DNF in 2007. He’s one of the three Cup regulars to be running at the end of all 28 races this season.
