No. 10 Valvoline/Stanley Tools Dodge Charger Race Facts
Nextel Cup Series --- Kansas Speedway

Engineer: Chad Johnston

SCOTT RIGGS QUOTES:
“We have been qualifying well the last few weeks, but we don’t have the results at the end of the race to show for it. Last weekend it looked like we would come home with a solid top-20 finish but we got caught up in the big wreck late in the race. I like our chances this weekend though. Last time the Valvoline/Stanley Tools Dodge was at Kansas we started on the outside pole and led some laps. We will be shooting to better those results this weekend and now that we have switched back to the 06 Charger nose I think we have a shot at it.”

QUICK FACTS:

  • Riggs started on the outside pole and led six laps at Kansas Speedway last season.
  • He has complete 99 percent of his 801 laps at the fast 1.5-mile oval.
  • Riggs’ best finish of the 2007 season came in a COT race at Martinsville this spring.
  • He has competed at Kansas twice in the Busch Series and has a top 10 in his only start there in the Truck Series.
  • Riggs and the No. 10 Valvoline/Stanley Tools team currently sit 37th in owner points. They will need to qualify for this week’s race on time.
