PREVIEW: KYLE BUSCH (NO. 5 CARQUEST/KELLOGG'S IMPALA SS)
VENUE: INFINEON RACEWAY (1.99-MILE ROAD COURSE)
CIRCUIT: NASCAR NEXTEL CUP SERIES (RACE 16 OF 36)
EVENT: SUNDAY, JUNE 24, 2007 (110 LAPS, 218.9 MILES)
BUSCH'S TRACK RECORD: Kyle Busch has made two starts at Infineon Raceway in his NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series career. In his rookie year, Busch finished 40th after breaking a gear on pit road. Last season, he finished 11th, completing all circuits behind race winner and Hendrick Motorsports teammate Jeff Gordon.
BONDURANT BOUND: Busch will spend Tuesday and Wednesday in Phoenix at Bob Bondurant's Racing School to sharpen his road course skills for Sunday's event at Infineon Raceway.
CAR SELECTION FOR INFINEON: Crew chief Alan Gustafson has selected Hendrick Motorsports Chassis No. 430 as the primary Impala for this weekend's NEXTEL Cup event at Infineon. The car is brand new and was tested last month at Virginia International Raceway in preparation for the 10-turn track in Napa Valley.
PIT CREW WINNERS: The No. 5 Kellogg's/CARQUEST crew won their first Checkers/Rally's Double-Drive Thru challenge last weekend at Michigan International Speedway. The win puts the No. 5 team in the running for "Pit Crew of the Year," which is awarded at the end of the NEXTEL Cup season. The team spent the least amount of time on pit road en route to a sixth-place finish at MIS.

KYLE BUSCH, DRIVER OF THE NO. 5 CARQUEST/KELLOGG'S IMPALA SS: (ON HIS FOCUS FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2007.) "I'm one hundred percent focused on the task at hand. I still have a job to do and, as you saw in last weekend's sixth-place finish at Michigan, we're still very much giving it our all. Our sponsors, Kellogg's and CARQUEST, deserve nothing but the best because they have been great partners to me and to the No. 5 team."
BUSCH: (ON WHICH DRIVER IS THE BIGGEST THREAT ON A ROAD COURSE.) "I think Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart and of course the other road course ringers like Boris Said and Ron Fellows will all be tough. I've had the chance to follow both Jeff and Tony on the track and learned a lot from them. Juan Pablo Montoya is going to be a threat, too, because he was impressive and aggressive at the Mexico City Busch Series race."

ALAN GUSTAFSON, CREW CHIEF OF THE NO. 5 CARQUEST/KELLOGG'S IMPALA SS: (ON CONCERNS WITH THE NEW CAR OF TOMORROW ON A ROAD COURSE.) "We will have two concerns. The first being this new car will be harder on the brakes and the cars won't corner as fast. The second is if the driver goes off into the gravel, the splitter will act like a snowplow. The gravel will shoot up into the duct work and the radiator cooling system causing all sorts of issues. The main goal is to stay on the course and get the best finish possible."
