Klaus Graf Returns to BAM Racing in Proven Successful Combination for Sonoma … German-born racer Klaus Graf returns as driver of the No. 49 Paralyzed Veterans Dodge Avenger for BAM Racing this weekend at Infineon Raceway. In 2004, Graf successfully qualified a second entry at the 1.99-mile road course for the team. In his last start at the raceway, the American Le Mans Series driver and 2005 Trans-Am Series Champion qualified the No. 59 BAM Racing Dodge in the 38th position and captured a top-20 finish for the organization with a 17th place finish.

Graf recently completed a two-day test session at Virginia International Raceway with the BAM Racing team and the Car of Tomorrow (CoT) in preparation for the Toyota/Save Mart 350.

“We are excited to have Klaus drive for our team again,” commented Beth Ann Morgenthau. “He did an excellent job qualifying at Infineon Raceway in 2004 when we entered two cars into the race. He understands the pressures of qualifying on time and we are confident that history will repeat itself with this proven successful combination in Sonoma.”

Klaus Graf on Infineon Raceway … “It feels great to come back to the Nextel Cup Series and BAM Racing. After my experience at Infineon Raceway in 2004, I’m looking forward to getting back into a Nextel Cup car. With the preparation the team and I did together, we feel strongly about this task. The Car of Tomorrow suits my driving style and experience. I am no stranger to road course racing and feel the CoT will only enhance my performance on track.”

No. 49 Dodge Offers Unique Opportunity to Support Paralyzed Veterans of America … BAM Racing and primary sponsor Paralyzed Veterans of America (Paralyzed Veterans) invite the public to support the efforts of the organization by participating in the Star Tribute program.
