Dover’s No. 36 Camry…The 360 OTC Racing team will utilize COT No. 9 this weekend at Dover (Del.) International Speedway. This is the same car Jeremy Mayfield drove at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway several weeks ago.
Mayfield’s Career Stats…Mayfield hopes to make his 415th career NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series start when the green flag waves Sunday afternoon. Mayfield made his first career Cup Series start in October 1993 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway and finished 24th (qualified 33rd) in his first Cup Series start in Dover in 1994.
Mayfield in Dover…Mayfield has made 25 starts on the one-mile oval during his Cup Series career and has started inside the top 10 on 10 occasions, including three pole positions. He has also earned eight top-10 finishes, the highest being a runner-up finish in 2003.
BDR at Dover…Competitors driving Bill Davis Racing-owned cars have been racing at the track since 1993 and have made 38 starts. Those drivers have posted four top-10 finishes.
Listen and Watch…Qualifying for Sunday afternoon’s event is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 21. The 400-lap event is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m. ET Sunday, Sept. 23, and will broadcast LIVE on ABC (TV), MRN (radio) and Sirius Satellite Radio.
