Edwards on racing at Daytona International Speedway:
“I’m really looking forward to getting back in my No. 99 Office Depot Ford Fusion for the start of the 2007 season in Daytona. The Daytona 500 is our most challenging race of the year. I’m very excited about reuniting with Bob Osborne and carrying the momentum we had from our last 10 races of 2006 into the start of this year. We just need to produce good results. We need to stay out of trouble and finish in the top-10 or better. We finished 43rd there last year, so we definitely need a better finish this year. I think 2007 is going to be a blast. My goal is to produce top 10’s and wins.”
Crew Chief Bob Osborne on racing at Daytona International Speedway:
“It’s great to be teamed back up with Carl and the Office Depot team. I’m very excited about our prospects for 2007. Our first step will be to finish the Daytona 500 in a good position to set us up for the long road to the Chase. The No. 99 Office Depot team needs to have excellent pit stops, stay out of the “big one” and draft well to finish the top 10. We can’t wait to get the 2007 season rolling.”
