KASEY KAHNE QUOTES:
"We've made a lot of progress with the No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger since the test in January. Although we've had some adversity to overcome the last few days, I think we're prepared for a good run Sunday. To finish the Daytona 500 in the top 10 would be huge for us and kick off what we hope will be another great season. We'll miss Kenny's (Francis, team director) leadership, but he's put together a great team that will step up and get the job done. Having a good car is only part of the package for Daytona. You also have to make the right decisions on adjustments, have good pit stops and pick the right drafting partners. I like the way this team has responded this week."
On his run in the Duel 150…
“We were good. We made a lot of good decisions that made the car better. Everything felt right, we just got messed up there when some cars got sideways and slowed up, and I was right behind him so I had to get out of the gas. At that point we lost our chance at a top five.”
