Sharp Aquos 500 - Chevrolet Post-Race Quotes

Jimmie Johnson Get Fifth Win of Season at Fontana; Team Chevy Drivers Capture Four of Top-Five Finishing Positions

Chevrolet Continues to Lead Manufacturers' Cup Standings with 18 Victories in 25 Races

Fontana, CA - Jimmie Johnson, No. 48 Lowe's/Jimmie Johnson Foundation Monte Carlo SS, didn't let the triple digit heat at the start of the race hinder his performance as he captured his fifth victory of the 2007 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series season tonight at his "home" track, California Speedway.

Johnson, a native of El Cajon, CA, led four times for a total of 48 laps in the 250-lap/500-mile Sharp AQUOS 500. He took the lead for the final time on lap 229 on the way to his second win at Fontana and the 28th win of his career.

"This is a special week for the Lowe's team, for us to come back here and get a win at Fontana, my home track, I couldn't be happier, couldn't be more proud of this race team. It is nice to all these to see all these California fans getting rowdy for us on that cool down lap. I can't thank you guys enough.

"It was just a long hot night, the track kept changing," said Johnson. "The 5 car could make the top work really good, I just couldn't make it work long enough. I would get a couple of good laps, but I really focused on the bottom and it paid off."

Johnson is officially locked in to the Chase for the Nextel Cup that begins following the Chevy Rock and Roll 400 next weekend at Richmond International Raceway. With this victory, Johnson now holds the most bonus points going in to the Chase.

His Hendrick Motorsports teammate, Kyle Busch, No 5 CHEEZIT/Kellogg's/CARQUEST Monte Carlo SS, was third. Busch led a total of seven times for a total of 97 laps.

Jeff Burton, No. 31 RCR Monte Carlo SS, finished fourth followed by Dale Earnhardt, Jr., No. 8 Budweiser Monte Carlo SS, to give Team Chevy four of the five top-five finishers.

With 18 wins in 25 races, Chevrolet continues to lead the Manufacturers' Cup standings.

Eight drivers are now locked in to the Chase. Six of the eight are Bowtie Brigade drivers. In addition to Johnson, Busch and Burton, Jeff Gordon, No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet, Tony Stewart, No. 20 Home Depot Chevrolet and Denny Hamlin, No. 11 FedEx Chevrolet are ready to do battle the final 10 races of the season to capture the crown.

The 26th and final event in the Race to the Chase will be Saturday night, September 8, 2007 at Richmond International Raceway.

POST RACE NOTES & QUOTES:

JEFF GREEN, No. 66 Best Buy Monte Carlo SS - Finished 23rd:

"We fought a loose race car all night. The speeding on pit road penalty we got at the end cost us a really good finish. The guys deserve better than the finish we had.they did a great job. We'll come back and get them next week."

KYLE BUSCH, No. 5 Cheezit/Kellogg's/CARQUEST Monte Carlo SS, Started 5th, Finished 3rd:

ON SHEET METAL DAMAGE AND TIRE RUB ON RIGHT FRONT: "The damage, it was everything to us. It just killed us there at the end of the race."

ON TONIGHT'S RACE: " We had a great Cheez-it/Kellogg's/CARQUEST car tonight, we were really, really good. It feels good, it was really, really good all night long. We had a great chance there to win the race; we were catching Jimmie there at the end of the race. I just got in to turn three there a little high, a little hot, got us in the gray stuff up there, got loose and tagged the wall. Hit it with the back, hit it with the front and just killed our aerodynamics, so we were just struggling from there. Lucky to come home third."

JEFF BURTON: No. 31 RCR Monte Carlo SS, Started 15th, Finished 3rd:

"We had a good run. I thought at times we had a car good enough to win. We got a real aggressive on that last change and got too loose. But I am glad we got too loose, but I am glad we got too loose instead of stay too tight. I feel good what we did tonight, hopefully we can build on it."

DALE EARNHARDT, JR., No. 8 Budweiser Monte Carlo SS, Started 7th, Finished 5th:

"It was fun, hot, sweaty and car was tight, loose, never perfect, but we worked hard. I am tired, real tired. I am so proud of my guys, they worked so hard and it was so hot this weekend, I am proud of them for sticking it out and giving us a good run.

"I would just like to thank my team, they worked so hard, you get kind of aggravated out there, never satisfied.

"I would like to think they could run just as good without me, I would never be able to run this good without them.

"I don't know much about the system (points), never have. Never cared to. I just go out there as hard as can. It doesn't look like we are going to make it but we aren't going to quit trying. Until they say we aren't in the Chase. Just a long day out there, hot, real hot."

TONY EURY JR., crew chief, No. 8 Budweiser Monte Carlo SS:

"When you run in the top five and things happen with 30 (laps) to go, you're not going to fix it in two races. So we'll just give it our best shot and if we make it, we'll make it. If we don't, well then we've still had a pretty good year. We just had too many errors."

ON THE LACK OF LONG RUNS EARLY IN THE RACE: "Our car was a lot better on long runs so it did affect us a little bit. Maybe we should have had it a little bit better for the shorter runs. We went kind of medium, you know. If we'd went in between, we'd have been a lot better off."

WHEN THE YEAR BEGAN, DID YOU THINK IT WAS GOING TO BE A PRETTY GOOD YEAR? "No, everybody wants to be in the Chase. Somebody has got to lose and we had too many errors. But we've run in the top five I don't know how many times and then we'd have a motor blow up or power steering go out you know, the craziest stuff like that. It's luck. It's rotten luck and some of it was brought on ourselves. But there is nothing you can really do about it. I mean as long as the car is running in the top five and Junior is doing his part and we're doing our part, things happen. You can't sit back on the couch and say well, I've had a terrible year, because you haven't. You've just got to keep your guys pumped up."

IS IT ESPECIALLY TOUGH BECAUSE IT'S JUNIOR'S LAST YEAR WITH DEI? "We'll everybody wants it. You can say all right, this is his last year at DEI and you wanted to go out with a bang and be in the Chase, but unfortunately it's not going to happen. So we'll just kind of take what we got and move on."

WHAT DOES THIS LEAVE FOR YOU, ASSUMING YOU DON'T MAKE THE CHASE, IN THE LAST 10 RACES TO ACCOMPLISH? "Oh, we'll just try to win some races. That's our goal going in and we haven't done it yet. Our goal will still be to try and win as many races as we can in that last 10. You can kind of throw the points out the window, which is kind of cool. But we just need to win some races.

JIMMIE JOHNSON, No. 48 Lowe's/Jimmie Johnson Foundation Monte Carlo SS, Started 2nd, Finished 1st:

"This is a special week for the Lowe's team, for us to come back here and get a win at Fontana, my home track, I couldn't be happier, couldn't be more proud of this race team. It is nice to all these to see all these California fans getting rowdy for us on that cool down lap. I can't thank you guys enough.

"It was just a long hot night, the track kept changing. The 5 car could make the top work really good, I just couldn't make it work long enough. I would get a couple of good laps, but I really focused on the bottom and it paid off.

"We don't know why but we always get off to a good start in the season and then finish up strong. It is just the way our team works for some reason. The summer months really aren't the best for us. We are peaking at the right time.

"There is obviously a lot of racing left and a lot of good teams fighting for this Chase, we are hitting our stride at the right time. I have to thank Lowe's and the employee owners, for allowing me to run the Foundation decals on the car this weekend. It was very special for the Jimmie Johnson Foundation to win here.

"I am so proud of (crew chief) Chad Knaus and this crew. There were a couple of different lines that were working through out the night. I stayed committed to the bottom, worked the top a few times and didn't have success with it. I knew that the track cooled down, the bottom would be the place to be; we had our stuff right when it mattered.

"We are doing everything we can. I am so proud of this race team, Hendrick Motorsports. Reliable engines, great race cars, great pit stops. We are really hitting our stride when we need to. I am very satisfied. The season is all about achieving something special when you get in the Chase, we are fortunate to be in that situation. It is time for the pressure to pick up and the hard work to start and my guys are ready for it, they showed it today."

CHAD KNAUS, winning crew chief, No. 48 Lowe's / Jimmie Johnson Foundation Monte Carlo SS:

ON BRINGING CAR THAT WAS WRECKED AND REBUILT: "I really felt very confident with this race car. I liked this race car, it is great t is car. Actually, this car has only finished out of the top-two twice in its career. It is a very, very good race car and I just wanted to bring it back. "

ON HOW THE HEAT AFFECTED THE CREW: "You know, it wasn't really that bad today, but leading up to the race, working through the practice session, the cars are really hot. The engine compartment is very hot, the garages get very hot, working on the cars in 110-degree temperatures, it is just grueling on the guys. When they leave after practice, they are just spent; they are whipped. But today, wasn't that bad. The clouds rolled in about 5:00 o'clock and it wasn't terrible."

ON WHERE THEY STAND FOR THE CHASE NOW THAT HE IS BACK AT THE TRACK: "I don't think we are in any better shape, but I think we are in just as good a shape. Ron Malec, Lance McGrew, everybody just did a phenomenal job, everybody as a team just stepped up. It just shows the depth we have a Hendrick Motorsports, so I don't know that we are any better off, or I am fresher because I still came to work every day. I think we have got the same amount of intensity we did then; we just didn't lose anything. That is the important thing."

ON RICHMOND: "We are really excited about going back to Richmond, we are taking the same car that we had in the spring at Richmond. We were in Milwaukee last week testing it. For Loudon, we have a brand new Impala SS that we are going to take there that we are really excited about."

ON HOW TRACK CHANGED AND ADJUSTMENTS; "That is something the team has to look at internally and pay attention to what the race track calls for. We are fortunate that we have four teams at HMS that we can go back over the data we have accumulated over the last six, eight, ten, twelve years. We can see the trend. Once you identify the trend. and pay attention to what the data has to say about the race track, I am not saying you can hit it, but you can luck in to it once in a while."

ON WHERE THEY SIT FOR THE CHASE. "I think it is phenomenal. I think it speaks volumes about this team. The whole 48 team has just been so, so strong since its inception in 2002. We when rolled out, I was very proud of the way Jimmie was able to drive the race car. The team just gelled and it has continued to get bigger, and stronger. For us to be in contention once again at this time is just incredible. It is a great thing for Lowe's, HMS and everyone involved."

JEFF GORDON, No. 24 DuPont Monte Carlo SS - Finished 22nd:

ON THE RACE "It wasn't a great night. We ran pretty good. There were times when we drove to the front. And we were working on the set-up and making it better and I was pretty happy with that. We made a call to come down pit road and got us in the back and they were two and three wide ahead of me and I tried to make a move to go underneath them and there just wasn't enough room and I actually was trying to squeeze out of it, but I don't know, I've got to watch the video. Somebody was underneath me, pushing me up into I think Jeremy (McGrath) and he got into the No. 00 (Reutimann)."

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT HOW YOU GUYS ARE RUNNING RIGHT NOW? ARE YOU DISAPPOINTED? "It's like this. None of these races really mean a whole lot. And so we'd like to be running better and be out there getting bonus points but this team is going to come with a whole different focus and attitude when we get to New Hampshire. I'll be honest. It's kind of hard to be in this position because you're in a position where it really doesn't matter; and yet you're a competitor and you go out there and you run hard and try to lead laps and win races. But you know in the back of your mind that it really doesn't mean anything. So I'm a little disappointed in some of the things we've had happen to us. But at the same time, I'd rather have them happen to us now than in those final 10 races."

DO YOU ACTUALLY PERFORM BETTER WHEN IT'S GAME TIME? "Yeah, probably. It's just like running better when you're in the heat of the moment for a win or something like that. I think this whole team does. I am really not concerned once we start the Chase."

DO YOU STILL FEEL THAT YOU AND YOUR TEAM ARE THE ONES TO BEAT COME THE CHASE? "Yes."

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR FUTURE TEAMMATE, DALE EARNHARDT JR., FOR THE FINAL 10 RACES SINCE HE WON'T BE IN THE CHASE LIKE YOU WEREN'T IN 2005? "I don't have to give him any advice. He's been in that position right along with me. We've both not made the Chase before. All you can do is run as hard as you can every race, no matter whether you're in it or not."

HOW SIGNIFICANT IS 10 POINTS FOR THE CHASE? JIMMIE JOHNSON NOW HAS 10 EXTRA BONUS POINTS. "He's definitely going to be one of the guys to beat in the championship. You don't want to give him one point. We've still gone one race left, Richmond, and maybe we can get something going there. But we'll all find out when we get down to that final race what 10 points means. We've gone on some streaks before when 10 points won't mean anything. But everybody is going to step up for those final 10 and you want every point you can get."

HOW DO YOU LOOK AT RICHMOND? "It's a good track for us. We ran well there last time. We sat on the pole. We're going to go back and try to do the same and try to finish up front and get us 10 bonus points."

POST RACE TRANSCRIPT: KYLE BUSCH, NO. 5 KELLOGG'S / CARQUEST MONTE CARLO SS - FINISHED 3RD

KYLE BUSCH: EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE MOVING ON TO JGR NEXT YEAR, YOU GOT SOME ENCOURAGING WORDS FROM RICK HENDRICK TONIGHT. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN TO YOU? "Our year is not done. We've still got this year to battle out for a championship and we're locked in the Chase. So there are plenty of strong opportunities for us to go out there and be able to contend for wins and contend for this championship. So words of encouragement from Mr. Hendrick, I've had it every time I've been able to get in his race cars and every time I've ever talked to him. For me, it's no different really than when it began."

YOU LOOKED LIKE YOU WERE ALL OVER THE PLACE OUT THERE EARLY. WAS YOUR CAR REALLY GOOD EVERYWHERE, OR WERE YOU SEARCHING FOR A PLACE WHERE IT WOULD BE BEST? AND DID WHATEVER WORKED EARLY, EVENTUALLY CHANGE WHEN THE SUN WENT DOWN? "My car would work for about three or four laps on the bottom or in the second groove there for a little bit. And then I would go all the way to the top and run around the top side. So I was all over the place because I was just trying to search and find somewhere that I could get some decent lap times out of it. I just didn't quite have the grip that I wanted within it. It was turning in the center, but it was just wanting to slide the back end out. On the exit it was getting a little bit loose too. So, you were just kind of having to pedal it and feel it out and searching around to find a better line in order to be more consistent and be smoother with the race car so you're not overdriving it and killing the tires and stuff. So for me, that's just basically what I was doing there for a bit."

DID IT CHANGE AT THE END? "Yeah, it changed all the time. At the beginning of the race, I'd have to go to the top right away. And then toward the end of the race when the track got cool and there was more grip in it, I could go down on the bottom and run the bottom for probably three more laps at a time as we got every pit stop and just being able to get more grip out of the car when it got cooler. And that was the fastest way around."

DID YOU THINK YOU WERE GOING TO BE ABLE TO CATCH JIMMIE JOHNSON AT ANY POINT? "I don't know if he was not using all his stuff and just waiting until he got a two-second gap or whatever it was and then went or what, but normally you're out there driving every lap 100 percent. So I don't know."

ON THE VERY HOT WEATHER: "It was warm at the beginning but there at the end it was all right. I was actually comfortable in the car, to tell you the truth."

POST RACE PRESS CONFERENCE TRANSCRIPT

WINNING TEAM: JIMMIE JOHNSON, NO. 48 LOWE'S / JIMMIE JOHNSON FOUNDATION MONTE CARLO SS, AND CHAD KNAUS, CREW CHIEF, AND RICK HENDRICK, OWNER, HENDRICK MOTORSPORTS

THE MODERATOR: We are joined by tonight's winner, driver of the number 48 Lowe's Chevrolet, Jimmie Johnson. This is Jimmie's second victory here in California and his sixth Top?10 finish at California Speedway. Jimmie, tell us about your run tonight.
JIMMIE JOHNSON: Really it was just a solid effort through the whole night. I think in the middle part of the race we were real quick on short runs, probably one of the better cars but in the long run would burn the right rear tire off of it. As the track changed, we made some small changes and we got that better and better. I tried the top side a little bit. Kyle (Busch) was having a lot of luck there and making up a lot of ground up there. I tried it and couldn't really make it work for long, and/or just get any speed out of the car doing it. So, went back to the bottom and focused on the bottom. We adjusted the car to run at the bottom and it paid off at the end.

THE MODERATOR: We are also joined by team owner, Rick Hendrick. Rick, tell us about your view of the race tonight.

RICK HENDRICK: It was a good race, and, you know, all our cars ran good at times, and we were able to be there at the end. So it was a good race. The last 20 laps are probably the longest 20 I've ever seen, but it was a good race.

Q. At the end, for a while, it looked like Kyle Busch was closing in, were you running as hard as you needed to, or did you find a line that worked better?
JIMMIE JOHNSON: What I was doing is I forgot about the No. 99 (Carl Edwards) back there to be to honest with you. I thought the No. 5 (Kyle Busch) was second place and I could see the 5 in the mirror running the top. And I thought I had that big margin running back to the 5 and just running the top I could kind of slow the bleeding down because he was coming. Then I heard it was like six to go or five to go and the 99 is in second, and I looked in the mirror and I couldn't recognize the hood on the car. I thought, well, that must be the 99 and I went back down on the bottom where I had been best the whole time and started matching the times and actually got a couple tenths back on them there. I thought the 5 was in second and thought I was playing the right strategy running the top and being conservative, and I had a huge space for myself to the 5 and thought I was fine. Then I had to readjust about five to go.

Q. Unfortunately most media are going to a story on the low turnout this weekend. You're from the area. What is missing from the track side or NASCAR side to get this to be a packed event like it used to be?
JIMMIE JOHNSON: I don't think I have the answer. I know that there's a large fan base for motor sports in southern California. It seems whenever you go to two events at a track, most tracks have a hard time filling up both events, both dates. The weather you would think would discourage people. I know I wouldn't spend money to sit in traffic, sit in the stands for six, seven hours and leave and that could be hurting it, as well. I do feel the track is getting racier as the track ages. Short tracks put on a little better show, a little more rough and tough and that might be an answer to look at some time down the road. I know there's a lot of speculation going on and I would love to see the stands full but I just don't know what that is. I think tonight we put on a great race from the competitor's standpoint and did everything we could tonight and a lot of great three?and four?wide racing and a lot of hard racing.

Q. Did the "Eagles Rules" (old high school) bumper sticker make it on to your car?
JIMMIE JOHNSON: You know what, I absolutely forgot about the bumper sticker with everything that was going on in the Busch practice and all of that. That was my fault. Somebody asked me about it before the race started and that's the first time it came to mind with all that's been going on this week, so it didn't make it on.

Q. This is your first win since May 6. Did you think you were not going to win again this year?
JIMMIE JOHNSON: No, that's not the case. We've been close; we've been running good. I think of Dover, I think of somewhere else in there, Chicago where we were running really good and up front and had problems. So we have been close. It's nice to get the job done and historically we get off to a great start, have a slow summer and finish up strong and it looks like for whatever reason, our cycle is coming back. It's just kind of what happens for us and I don't really know why but I'm glad we are back in victory lane. I didn't think we wouldn't get back in victory lane, but it is nice to get back.

Q. It looked like early in the race, for the first half of the race, everybody was battling for position, including the guys up front, the leader and everybody. Then it seemed like when you got the lead, things kind of spread out a little bit more and there was still racing for second and third but it wasn't as much for the guy up front. Was that just your car was a little better or were other guys having trouble getting a handle on it? Did you hear anything about what your teammates were going through?
JIMMIE JOHNSON: I didn't. I can say that our car was pretty good on the short run and then we got loose over through the long run. As the race wore on and as the track cooled down we made some adjustments, as well. But I think the track came to us some and maybe it just dialed some other guys out. But our car came on at the end of the race, by far the best we were all night long, all day long.

Q. Jeff Gordon just said very straight into the microphone that he feels like he's the man to beat in the championship and it's easier for him to step up once game is on in New Hampshire, but also said you are very strong. With the two of you battling together and the two of you stepping up at New Hampshire, how do you look at that
JIMMIE JOHNSON: I think this is a great problem. Rick has three cars capable of winning the championship with Kyle, myself, and Jeff. We're all very strong mentally. We all want to win. We all want to race hard. We all want to be a champion for our own reasons: Kyle wants his first, Jeff wants his fifth. I want my second. When I first think in my mind of who I'm going to have to fight for the championship, I think of my teammates and that's a huge credit to Rick Hendrick Motorsports. There are a lot of other cars out there and it's going to be a long ten races to say the least. But I think my teammates, out of the three of us, we should get it done.

Q. Chad, tell it us about your view of the race tonight

CHAD KNAUS: Obviously it was a great race. It was a lot of fun to be able to go out there and have the Jimmie Johnson Foundation on the car and go out and pull it off. The car was very fast from Friday on and it was great. It was a lot of fun. Everybody at Hendrick Motorsports really put a strong effort in this race car to get it to the racetrack. Just a handful of weeks ago, the car was just a pile of rubble from the Chicagoland wreck and brought this car back, basically resurrected it with a new front clip, new rear body, new rear clip and brought it back to the racetrack untested. For it to be this fast out of the box, I was real happy with it. The guys did great job, great pit stops. This racetrack is really known for having a lot of engine failures and for us, I think for not one of our Hendrick Motorsports engines to have any type of failure is great; it's a statement.

Q. Are you stopping up on Malox for the Chase because of all three cars? And for anybody, this pattern thing, Jimmie, that you mentioned, this fast start, slow summer, fast finish, we sometimes keep asking you guys, what are you going to do to change it; maybe it is you don't need to change it. It seems to be working pretty good.
RICK HENDRICK: You know, the Malox deal, I need it all the time. And tonight, I talked to Kyle and Jimmie up front because they were getting awful close and we wanted to finish the race. As it gets down to these short tracks, it's going to be tough. But I'm proud of the guys for kind of respecting that we need to finish and so forth. So we're excited about that. We're glad that from my standpoint, we really needed this win because the 2 car (Kurt Busch) and Tony (Stewart) and a lot of guys have just been coming on. And we had a big burst at the front and then we hit kind of some seconds and not so, races were not that good for us. It's probably going to be one of the toughest Chases that you've ever seen with a lot of good cars. So it's going to be a dogfight with all 12 of them.

JIMMIE JOHNSON: I don't know why the cycle goes like it does. I think of Stewart, and if you look at his statistics, gets off to a low start, comes on. We all look at it, doesn't matter if it's the 48 car, the 20 car, a Roush car, whatever it may be, we all look at our weak points and try to pick those up. We've tried to address the tracks in the summer and what to do in the summer. We just didn't get the results. I think we were stronger this summer than we've been the last few sums. Just didn't have the results.

Q. A little more on that cycle. A month and a half, two months ago, back in the Top?10 in points and maybe a little doubt about the Chase spot. Now you're looking at the top seed or at least a share of the top seed, was there ever any real worry a couple of months ago about, hey, we might not get in this and how relieved or excited are you about the position you're in now?
JIMMIE JOHNSON: Yeah, I certainly was concerned. We had great race cars and had bad luck and lost a lot of round. And it's easy to have a bad race car and just not run well the following week. So if you get four or five bad races in a row, you can lose a lot of ground, and that's where I was nervous.

We really haven't had a bad car. I think Bristol was probably one of the tougher races we've had in a long time, maybe Sonoma and Bristol were really the two races this year where just we weren't there for whatever reason. And outside of that, we've been very, very competitive. So I was more nervous that we've been competitive and have had poor finishes, and it's easy to run into a slow spot in the season and not really run well. But we've got that all turned around now and looking good.

Q. How long has it seemed to you since that last victory this year at Pocono, and as good as you guys have been all year, does doubt creep into your mind when you are as good as you were at the beginning of the season and things level off?
RICK HENDRICK: Remember I told you guys when we were like 8 and 11 or whatever and I said, it won't be long before you ask me what's wrong, and I was waiting for that. (Laughter) We won some races we shouldn't have won, and then we lost some races we could have won.

The competition is just really, really tight out there, and you're right, I knew it was going to come. I was concerned that we had peaked too quick and that we would not be good in the Chase. But the guys are running well. But I knew you were going to ask me that question.

Q. I just wanted Chad to debrief the race and give your thoughts about the race and obviously congratulations on the win.
CHAD KNAUS: The race was great. The guys had phenomenal pit stops, did a very, very good job. I couldn't have been prouder of that. The car was good. We made adjustments. I think we stayed pretty much in tune with the track as it was changing throughout the day. It was a great race. I wish I could say there was more to it. There really wasn't. We were able to run up front the majority of the day, we were in the Top?5 and when the opportunity was there, Jimmie went out and struck hard and strong and went out there and took the lead and it was nice. It worked out well.

We really wanted to come out here and win this race. Fontana as been a good racetrack for us. At Michigan both race this is year I felt like we had cars that were capable of winning both races and leading up to this race we felt very confident coming in. There were a lot of guys who were strong. The 2 car was very strong early on and the 5 was very, very strong and those guys are always a threat for the victory. You know, there at the end we were fortunate to have a great pit stop and come out with the victory.
