Ward on returning to California…
“I’m ready to get to California and start preparing with the team to qualify for this race. We have to focus on getting the right setup for the car, the right springs, shocks, everything, so that we can use our practice time to get better. I know Larry [McClure], Chris [Carrier] and the guys back at the race shop are working hard to get us some good cars for these races. I haven’t raced at California for a couple years and I’m sure the track has changed a little. I’m ready to get in the car and get the State Water Heaters Chevrolet qualified so we can be there to race on Sunday.”
