    Jeremy Mayfield on California Speedway…
“Obviously, we were very disappointed with the way things turned out in Daytona, but we knew going in the possibility existed that we wouldn’t make the show. We can’t spend a lot of time dwelling on it. We can only make sure that when we show up in California, we don’t have the same result. This is a good race team; there’s no doubt about that, and there were bound to be hiccups along the way. Hopefully, we got ours out of the way early, and we can get to Fontana and get things started in the right direction. We tested the 360 OTC car we’re taking in Las Vegas, so we know we have a good Toyota Camry for this weekend. We just have to make sure we stick to the fundamentals and get ourselves a good qualifying run and make the show. There’s absolutely no reason why we wouldn’t be able to do that. We have everything it takes.”
