Kasey Kahne is making his third straight Budweiser Shootout appearance. His best start was a fifth in 2006. His best finish of ninth came in 2005.

The best start for an Evernham Motorsports entry came in 2004 when the No. 19 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger started from the pole. The No. 19 Dodge was out front for 10 laps, but an accident 12 laps from the finish eliminated the No. 19 Dodge from competition.
The best finish for an Evernham Motorsports entry came last year when Scott Riggs finished fourth in the No. 10 Valvoline/Stanley Tools Dodge.
