Bristol’s No. 36 Camry…The 360 OTC Racing team will utilize COT 09 this weekend at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway. This is the same car the team used several weeks ago at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International, as well as earlier in the season at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.
Mayfield’s Career Stats…Jeremy Mayfield hopes to make his 413th career NASCAR Nextel Cup Series start when he takes the green flag Saturday evening. Mayfield made his first career Cup Series start in October 1993 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway and finished 21st (qualified 25th) in his first Cup Series start at BMS in 1994.
Mayfield in Bristol…Mayfield has made 24 starts on the high-banked .533-mile oval during his Cup Series career and has started inside the top 10 on six occasions. He has also earned five top-10 finishes and two top-five finishes at the Tennessee track.
BDR at BMS…Competitors driving Bill Davis Racing-owned cars have been racing at Bristol Motor Speedway since 1993 and have made 40 starts. Those drivers have posted two top-five finishes and seven top-10 finishes in Cup Series competition.
Two Days of Testing…The 360 OTC Racing team is scheduled to spend next Tuesday and Wednesday testing at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Toyota Live!...Mayfield is scheduled to make an appearance at the Toyota Live! Stage, located outside the speedway, Friday at 4:30 p.m. ET.
Bristol’s Broadcast Schedule…Qualifying for Saturday evening’s event is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 24. The 500-lap event is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. ET Saturday, Aug. 25, and will broadcast LIVE on ESPN (TV), PRN (radio) and Sirius Satellite Radio.
