WIX FILTERS LAP LEADER NOTES FOR THE FOOD CITY 500 NASCAR NEXTEL CUP SERIES RACE AT BRISTOL MOTOR SPEEDWAY, MARCH 25, 2007.

Tony Stewart led four times for 257 laps to earn WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in the Food City 500. Stewart has led 441 laps this season and has led at least one lap in four of the five races in 2007.

Stewart is the first driver to win the WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors more than once this season. He also led the most laps in the Daytona 500 (race No. 1).

Stewart finished 35th in today’s race. He is UNOFFICIALLY 12th in the NEXTEL Cup Series championship standings, 23 points behind 10th-place Carl Edwards.
