Teresa Earnhardt and DEI Lead the Way in New York City
"Off The Record" NASCAR Media Event Held at Nikki Beach Midtown
Deemed as an "Off The Record" event as reflected in the creative invitations that were sent out, Max Siegel, President of Global Operations at DEI, and the new DEI team mingled with several members of the NASCAR and local New York media, as well as executives from NASCAR and Sprint.
"We wanted to take this opportunity for the media to get to know our current staff in a more relaxed atmosphere," said Earnhardt, CEO of Dale Earnhardt Inc. "I'm confident that everyone had a good time and it's always nice to be able to see people in a different setting."
The majority of Dale Earnhardt Inc.'s management staff such as John Story, VP of Motorsports Operations, Venton Curry and Brian Barr, both Director of Sales, and Joe Hedrick, VP of Licensing, were on hand to greet and welcome all of the media guests. DEI's top driver Martin Truex Jr. was in attendance and NASCAR driver Kyle Busch.
The evening was sponsored by leading spirits brand Pearl Vodka, whose master mixologists created signature cocktails for the evening including the "E" Tini, "Off The Record Martini," and "Media Blitz Martini."
Most of the guests are in town for NASCAR's Champion's Week, a week-long event that culminates with the crowning of the Nextel Cup Champion tonight at NASCAR's season-ending banquet at the famed Waldorf-Astoria.
The event was such a success that Siegel teased of a sequel next year, referring to the event as the 'inaugural' in a short address made by he and Earnhardt to those in attendance.
