Wimmer will be attempting to start in his third (3) NASCAR Nextel Cup event at ‘The Glen’. In two previous events, his career-best start is 21st and his best finish at the 2.5-mile road course is 19th (2004)
Wimmer will have to qualify based on time for the AMD at the Glen, as Morgan-McClure Motorsports is 38th in owner’s points.
