Reed Sorenson on Texas…
“The Target team overcame a lot of adversity last week in Atlanta and managed to get a respectable finish. It certainly wasn’t what we were looking for going into the weekend, but based on how the month of October has been it was a small victory. A couple of my friends have started calling me Mr. October as a joke. Seriously though, after the Atlanta race I got the feeling that our luck is going to change, and we’re heading into a new month.
“We had a strong run in the spring race at Texas in the Cup car, and we’ve had some successful runs in the Busch car there. I like the track and we should be a little better the second time around. We’ve run the car we’re taking twice this year and we’ve scored top-10 finishes both times. I’d like to keep that streak going with another strong finish this weekend.
