Edwards on racing at Texas Motor Speedway:
“Texas Motor Speedway is one of my favorite tracks on the NASCAR circuit. It’s a place where you can carry a lot of speed, which makes for some great racing. Winning there last fall was awesome, and I’d love to see our No. 99 Office Depot team in Victory Lane again this weekend. I feel like we’re right there. Last weekend at Atlanta was tough for our team – we had a good car, but a win just wasn’t in the cards for us. I think we’re all coming to Texas with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm. It’s going to be a blast.”
Crew Chief Wally Brown on racing at Texas Motor Speedway:
“Texas is a fast, smooth track, and Carl really likes racing there. It’s definitely a place where he excels and has done well in the past. I think the entire No. 99 Office Depot team is looking forward to this weekend. The crew guys have been really working hard to pit Carl more consistently and to give him everything he needs to compete for the win. It’s a total team effort, and everyone is really digging to make these last three races of 2006 something special. Texas is going to be a lot of fun.”
