ELLIOTT SADLER QUOTES
“I’m really pleased with the performance of the No. 19 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger, the communication with Josh (Browne, co-team director), the effort by the crew and the support we get from our engineers and everyone at Evernham Motorsports. We could easily have three top-10 finishes. That’s what makes everything so neat…the potential this team has.
“It was great having the three Evernham Motorsports’ teams running 1-2-3 at California. That was the first time this year they were 1-2-3 under race conditions. The objective at Richmond is to get Kasey (Kahne) in the Chase. Scott (Riggs) and I can help that effort by running up front with Kasey. It’s going to be a typical Saturday night short-track race … lots of action.”
STATS & FACTS
ELLIOTT SADLER AT RICHMOND INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY
This will be Elliott Sadler’s fourth start with the Evernham Motorsports’ No. 19 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger team.
Chassis No. 120, which Sadler will race this weekend at Richmond, ran at Loudon and Phoenix last year and posted a 6th place finish in the 2005 fall race at RIR.
Sadler's best start/finish combination at Richmond came in 2005, when he started 5th and finished 7th in the spring event there.
Last weekend, Sadler drove the No. 19 Dodge Charger to a 13th place finish at California after starting 18th. He led the race late in the event and was running in the top-five when something apparently broke on the racecar.
Sadler's best finish in the No. 19 Dodge Charger came at Michigan where he finished 10th.
