The other victory was by Harry Gant in an Oldsmobile (February 1991).

    Qualifying Update
There has been a different Bud Pole winner in each of the past 12 races at Richmond International Raceway.

    Mr. Consistency
Rusty Wallace was the dominator on the 3/4-mile track at Richmond since 1988. In those 35 races Wallace had three Bud Poles (second only to Jeff Gordon with four), six victories (twice as many as closest drivers Terry Labonte and Tony Stewart; three each), 21 top-fives and 27 top-10's (more than any other driver) and led 2,933 laps (more than any other driver).
