Greg Biffle Advance
Pocono Raceway, Jun. 9-11
NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series: Pocono 500
Greg Biffle
Team: No. 16 National Guard/Subway Ford Fusion
Crew Chief: Doug Richert
Chassis: RK-201 (Atlanta and Charlotte ‘06)
Biffle on racing at Pocono Raceway:
“Pocono is a little different than most of the tracks we go to just because you can get so much speed in the straightaways but the corners are so flat that you’ve got to be able to slow down and control the car almost like a road course. We’ve had decent runs at Pocono and a top five there this weekend in the National Guard/Subway Ford would be just what we need going into Michigan next weekend.”
Crew Chief Doug Richert on racing at Pocono Raceway:
“We’re taking the car we raced earlier this year at Atlanta and Charlotte. It is our best downforce car and probably the fastest car we have. It should be good at Pocono. Brakes are important there for slowing down in the turns, so we’ll keep a close eye on that. We’ll just go there with the notes we have and see what we can learn in practice.”
