TEXAS RECAP: Kevin Harvick and his No. 29 GM Goodwrench/Reese’s racing team’s never-give-up mentality enabled them to put together a third place finish in last Sunday’s rain-delayed Dickies 500. A tight racecar at the beginning of the 500-mile race, continuous chassis adjustments coupled with quick pit stops allowed Harvick to pick up his career-best NEXTEL Cup Series finish at Texas’ 1.5-mile oval. Thanks to his 13th top-five finish of 2006, Harvick now sits fifth in the Chase for the NEXTEL Cup standings, 105-markers from new point’s leader Jimmie Johnson.
RUNNING IT: The No. 29 Reese’s/GM Goodwrench transporter will unload chassis No. 120 this weekend at Phoenix International Raceway. This chassis was run during the first Chase race at New Hampshire International Speedway where Harvick won from the pole position.
SPECIAL PAINT SCHEME: Kevin Harvick will get behind the wheel of the No. 29 Reese’s Milk Chocolate Layered Cookies Chevrolet. Reese’s Milk Chocolate Layered Cookies have the candy taste you love with a big cookie crunch. Please stop by the Phoenix International Raceway media center this weekend and try them for yourself.
PHOENIX STATS: Harvick has seven career NEXTEL Cup starts at Phoenix International Raceway. Of those seven starts, he has compiled a record of one win, two top-five finishes and two top-10 finishes. Harvick’s win came earlier this year when he won the Subway Fresh 500 in April.
REESE’S CREW TAKES IT TO THE ICE: The No. 29 Reese’s Cookies Pit Crew will attend an NHL hockey game Thursday night when the Phoenix Coyotes host the Dallas Stars. That crew will also get an opportunity to skate from 3:00-4:30 p.m.
HOMECOMING: Reese’s front tire changer Jason Pulver will make his second stop this season to his home state of Arizona. Pulver from Tucson, Arizona won the 2006 Pit Crew Challenge during NASCAR’s all-star week in Charlotte.
’06 REESE’S RACING RECAP: Kevin Harvick has driven the No. 29 Reese’s Chevrolet 11 times so far in the 2006 NEXTEL Cup Season. Of those 11 starts, Harvick has racked up one win, three top-five finishes, five top-10 finishes and a with a Bud pole at New Hampshire International Speedway.

QUOTES:
ON THE IMPALA SS RETURNING TO NASCAR IN 2007: "I think that it's not really a big change. Whatever is best for the Chevrolet brand, and if that is what they deem they need to do, then we are all behind it, and looking forward to it."
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT PIR: “Phoenix is one of the tracks that I really look forward to racing at. We won there back in April and have always run really well. Our program is much better now than we were when we raced out there last year, so I am really excited about this weekend.”
WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE THIS TIME GOING BACK TO PHOENIX AFTER WINNING ALREADY THIS SEASON:“I am really looking forward to Phoenix. I feel very good about our chances Sunday and it’s nice to be heading there coming off a third place finish last weekend. Obviously when you go back to a track where you have won at previous, you definitely go there with added confidence. We are not taking the same car we won in, but we are taking the same car from our win at New Hampshire.”
