WIX FILTERS LAP LEADER NOTES FOR THE SUBWAY FRESH 500 NASCAR NEXTEL CUP SERIES RACE AT PHOENIX INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY, APRIL 22, 2006.

Greg Biffle led the Subway Fresh 500 six times for 151 laps to win the WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race Award. Biffle also led the most laps in the race. He claimed the WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors for the third time this season and is now tied with Tony Stewart (3-3) for the lead in the overall standings.

Biffle has led 23 times in seven races this season for a total of 555 laps. He finished 15th in the race at Phoenix.

Biffle gained two spots in the NEXTEL Cup Series championship standings, moving into 21st position.
