NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series: Subway Fresh 500
Greg Biffle

Crew Chief: Doug Richert
Chassis: RK-229 (New Hampshire and Richmond ‘05)
Biffle on racing at Phoenix International Raceway:
“We’ve had a lot of success at Phoenix with a couple of wins in the Busch Series and a few really good runs in the Cup Series. I always enjoy racing on the west coast and especially at a track where we’ve had some success. We’re taking a car that we tested last week at Richmond and we think it should be pretty good for Phoenix. I think there are going to be quite a few National Guard soldiers in the stands this weekend for the Subway Fresh 500, so we should have a pretty big cheering section.”
Crew Chief Doug Richert on racing at Phoenix International Raceway:
“We’re taking a car this weekend that we raced a couple of times last year but has been redone and we tested it last week in Richmond. We feel that the aero package is better and Greg just had a better feel for this car. We’ll go to Phoenix and start exactly like we were last year. We ran really well there last year. We had a car to win in the spring but an accident on pit road took us out of contention and then we finished second in the fall.”
