Subway Fresh 500 - Carl Edwards Notes

Carl Edwards - PHOENIX ADVANCE
Phoenix International Raceway, Apr. 21-22
NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series: Subway Fresh 500

Carl Edwards
Team: No.99 Office Depot Ford Fusion
Crew Chief: Wally Brown
Chassis Number: RK- 358

Edwards on racing at Phoenix International Raceway:
“I love going to Phoenix. Last year, it was awesome to win the Busch race there. Phoenix is also the first place I ever ran a pavement race. I have a lot of special memories of Phoenix, which would make a Cup win even better. I think Wally Brown is going to do a great job this weekend in Phoenix. He has worked with our team for a long time and personally, I have known him for about 10 years. It will be a good weekend for the Office Depot team; I am looking forward to it.”

Crew Chief Wally Brown on racing at Phoenix International Raceway:
“The entire Office Depot team is excited for Phoenix this weekend. I know Carl is excited about returning to Phoenix. He really likes the Phoenix track and had a great finish last fall in the Cup race. It’s a Saturday night race, so it’s going to be a lot of fun.”
