Lenox Industrial Tools 300 - Carl Edwards Notes

Carl Edwards Advance
New Hampshire International Speedway, Jul. 14 - Jul. 16
NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series: Lenox Industrial Tools 300

Carl Edwards
Team: No.99 Office Depot Ford Fusion
Crew Chief: Wally Brown
Chassis: RK–358 Last raced at Phoenix in April 2006; finished fourth

Edwards on racing at New Hampshire International Speedway:
“New Hampshire is one of my favorite tracks; I really enjoy racing there. It is one of the tracks that puts more in the drivers’ hands. New Hampshire is flat and very fast, which is a lot of fun to run on. It is imperative for the Office Depot team to run well this weekend. The last couple of weeks have been tough on us in regards to the point standings. If we can come out of Loudon with a good finish, we should be able to gain back a few of the points we lost in Daytona and Chicago.”

Crew Chief Wally Brown on racing at New Hampshire International Speedway:
“We really need to have a good run this weekend in New Hampshire. The Office Depot team is taking the same car we ran at Phoenix earlier this year, which finished fourth. We lost some ground last weekend and need to make it up in New Hampshire. I know the guys at the shop have been working really hard to give Carl the best car possible for this weekend. Hopefully, we can go into New Hampshire, run well and leave with a top-five finish. That’s our goal.”
