DirecTV 500 - Greg Biffle Notes

Greg Biffle Advance
Martinsville Speedway, Mar. 31 – Apr. 2
NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series: DIRECTV 500

Greg Biffle
Team: No. 16 National Guard Ford Fusion
Crew Chief: Doug Richert
Chassis: RK-297 (Martinsville ‘05)

Biffle on racing at Martinsville Speedway:
“Martinsville is obviously not one of my best racetracks but we spent some time testing there last year and I think we learned a lot during the race there last fall. We’re taking back the same car we ran there in the fall race and I think that if we can use those notes to find a better setup, we should be okay. We’ve been gaining a lot in the points and we just need a solid finish this weekend to keep up the momentum.”

Crew Chief Doug Richert on racing at Martinsville Speedway:
“We’re taking a car that we raced at Martinsville last fall except that it has been re-bodied with the new Fusion style. We missed the setup last fall, so we’re going to try some different things when we get out there for practice. Our goal this weekend is a solid top-15 finish. We’ll go to Martinsville this weekend a little more on the defense than on the offense but if we can qualify well and stay out of trouble, we should have a decent run.”
