SCOTT RIGGS QUOTES:
“This Stanley Tools/Valvoline Team is really looking forward to racing at Michigan. This is a track that I have had some success at in the past, but also we are bringing a chassis that we are very confident in. This is the same car we raced in the 600 in May. I am very proud of the way our team has overcome some adversity on the track in our last two races to post decent finishes. This weekend we really want to leave Michigan with a top five, but we are making sure we are prepared to compete for the win.”
RODNEY CHILDERS QUOTES:
“Our intermediate track program is one of our strongest areas at Valvoline Evernham Racing. This team has run strong at Las Vegas, Texas, and Lowe’s this season. Scott knows his way around Michigan and I think we have a pretty good shot this weekend. The guys are putting in extra time in the shop to make sure we are prepared and we are really putting in a strong effort for this race specifically.”
