UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 - Greg Biffle Notes

NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series: UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400

Greg Biffle

Chassis: RK 239: Same car the team led 168 laps with at California two weeks ago and won with at Homestead and Michigan in 2005.
RK-239 (Homestead win, ’05)

Biffle on racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway:
"I'm really looking forward to Vegas this year. We're going out there a little early for some media opportunities. I have a lot of family coming into town for the race, so it will be good to see everyone. As far as the race goes, we just need to get back on track and I think Vegas is definitely a place where we can do that. We had a good run there last year and I feel even more confident about the car we're taking this time. We're taking the car that we raced in California two weeks ago and it was obviously a good car. We didn't test it at Vegas but after last week we decided it would be the best car for the Vegas race."

Crew Chief Doug Richert on racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway:
“We’re taking the same car we took to California two weeks ago. We actually didn’t test it at Vegas but we were very happy with the run in California and feel that this is now the best car for Vegas. We’re not in a great position for two weeks into the season but I have no doubt that this National Guard team can get the season turned around. We’re not changing anything about our approach to the rest of the season, it is the same as it was before Daytona. We’re just going to show up every week, try to lead every lap and win every race.”
