I got to race there last year with them and also at Watkins Glen and I always enjoy driving for Larry [McClure] and Tim [Morgan]. I think we will have a lot better opportunity this year by getting started earlier and having two weeks to prepare for the race rather than two hours.

I really didn’t think the opportunity to race at Infineon was going to present itself being this close to the race. I thought I had exhausted all my opportunities and it just wasn’t looking good. I guess when it rains it pours because I had planned to go to Milwaukee and race a Busch car but I think it’s more important for me to go to Infineon and race the 4 car.

I think this is a good opportunity for us to come out with a top ten finish. We were running good there last year and ran out of gas. We had raced into a top ten last year at Watkins Glen and had a brake rotor failure so I think we obviously have a good shot at having a good finish. Larry says his motors are getting better and better so if we can start off where we were with the chassis at Watkins Glen I think we will have a good opportunity for a good finish that can help get Scott Wimmer and Morgan-McClure closer to that 35th spot in owner’s points.”
