POCONO RECAP: Kevin Harvick and the No. 29 GM Goodwrench/Reese’s racing team continue to enjoy their summer hot streak as they captured their third consecutive top-five finish July 23rd in the Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono Raceway. After starting 12th, Harvick dropped a few positions early, but quickly bounced back to run in the top-five for the majority of the 200-lap event. Harvick lost the handling of his car late in the race, but managed to drive his Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS to a fifth-place finish. This top-five finish allowed Harvick to climb three spots in the point standings where he now sits fifth, 376 markers out of the lead.
WELCOME BACK REESE’S: Reese’s orange will don the hood again this weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Reese’s is one of five special paint schemes The Hershey Company will run throughout the 2006 season.
MEDIA AVAILABILITY: Kevin Harvick will be available to the media on Friday, August 4th at 12:50 p.m. at the No. 29 hauler.
BRICKYARD STATS: Kevin Harvick has five career NEXTEL Cup starts at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Of those five starts, he has compiled three top-10 finishes including a win from the pole at the 2003 Brickyard 400.
IT’S ALL ABOUT THE CUP: For NASCAR's biggest stars, it's all about the Cup. Now fans can chase the Cup as well. Reese’s along with NASCAR.com have put together a fantasy racing game called “It’s All About The Cup.” More than 78,398 NASCAR fans are logging on each week for a chance to win great prizes presented by The Hershey Company. At the end of each weekly Race ("Week"), one (1) weekly prize ("Weekly Prize") will be awarded to the eligible participant whose Roster scores the highest for that Week ("Weekly Winners"). If there is a tie, the following methods will be used to determine the winners: Each week the participant will select from a drop down box what position Kevin Harvick will finish in that race. Participants will also select the number of different lap leaders in that race. If there is a tie for the Weekly Winners, the first tiebreaker will be who correctly predicted Kevin Harvick's exact finishing position. If no one selects Kevin Harvick's exact finishing position, then any tie will be broken by the entrant whose prediction was closest to Kevin Harvick's exact final position. If there is still a tie, the next level of tiebreaker will be the participants' selection for number of different lap leaders in that race. If there is a tie, the Weekly Prize will be divided evenly among tied participants. Please check out http://fantasy2.nascar.com/games/cbox/ for more information.
RUNNING IT: The No. 29 Reese’s/GM Goodwrench transporter will unload chassis No. 174 this weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This chassis was run at the open test back in the beginning of July.

INDY QUOTES:
On wanting to win the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard: “Yes, I do. Everybody puts a lot of effort into the Brickyard. Just knowing how big of a race it is to win, you want to go back and win it again. It is an important race for everybody because all the sponsors show up; there are hundreds of thousands of fans there and it is a prestigious race to win."
On the feeling of being at the Brickyard: “Going to the Brickyard is just one of those places that has so much history, so much prestige especially if you sit on the pole or win. It is just one of those places that everybody wants to win. You remember the first time you walked in, there is just something about the place, it is just a lot of fun to be a part of."
On the Brickyard testing in July: “The test went really good for us. I think everybody is obviously pretty nervous about the tires, when we first got there; the tires wore out in seven laps. They say they are going to be all right. But you never can tell until you get back. I felt like our cars were good. So if the tires don't create a huge issue, then it should be fun."
