NOTES & QUOTES
Kluever will be attempting his fifth NEXTEL Cup start this weekend at Homestead. He will be driving the No. 06 3M/Sharp AQUOS Ford Fusion for Roush Racing.
The No. 06 team will be taking chassis #RK-276 to Homestead. This is the car Kluever raced at Chicagoland and took to Michigan but damaged it in an accident during practice.
Kluever will be competing in both the NEXTEL Cup and Busch Series races at Homestead this weekend.
Todd Kluever on Homestead:
"This race was not originally on my schedule of races to run this season, but since we missed Phoenix we wanted to run another one for 3M. I like racing Homestead and got a top-10 finish in the truck there last year. We're at a bit of a disadvantage since we did not get to test a few weeks ago because we hadn't planned on running this one, but we'll make the best of it. We're taking the same car I raced at Chicago in July, and then we took it to Michigan in August, but it was damaged in an accident during practice. With 54 cars on the entry list it will be a tough one to get in, but hopefully we'll get a better qualifying draw than we had in Phoenix and have a solid run."
