Robby Gordon’s Quotes on the Neighborhood Excellence 400
“This is a big weekend for us. We’ll be running two trucks, the Chevy CK1500 and the Hummer H3 in the Baja 500 on Saturday and the No. 7 MAPEI/Menards Chevy in the Cup race on Sunday. I grew up off-road racing and I look forward to every time I get to go run the Baja. It’s a lot of traveling, about 11,000 miles overall, but we should be a contender in both races and hopefully we can defend our title in Baja. Dover is an extremely physical track. It has banking in the corners like Charlotte but most people compare it to Bristol; a high-banked, concrete bull ring. We have run well here in the past and with a new sponsor this weekend we hope to put on a good show for them and the fans.”
