Neighborhood Excellence 400 - Carl Edwards Notes

Carl Edwards Advance
Dover International Speedway, Jun. 2-4
NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series: Neighborhood Excellence 400

Carl Edwards
Team: No.99 Office Depot Ford Fusion
Crew Chief: Wally Brown
Chassis: RK-270 Last ran at Darlington Raceway May 2006; Finished 39th

Edwards on racing at Dover International Speedway:
"Racing at Dover this weekend is going to be a blast. On top of running both the Cup and Busch series, I am also going to run in the Craftsman truck race. It will be a busy weekend for me, but I really enjoy racing at Dover. I feel it is one of the fastest tracks that we go. It really reminds me a lot of racing a half-mile dirt track. The corners and the banking make it a really fast track. The Office Depot team has run well over the last couple of weeks and hopefully we can continue making our charge towards the top 10."

Crew Chief Wally Brown on racing at Dover International Speedway:
“This weekend at Dover is going to be tough. We are back to running Sunday afternoon races, so we have to adjust for the heat, both for the car and the crew. We are taking RK-270, which has been a great car for the Office Depot team. The setup at Dover is a tough one, the high banks and the concrete make for a challenging track. The Office Depot team has worked really hard these past couple of weeks and is looking forward to getting back on the road. Hopefully, we can have a great run at Dover this weekend and finally move ourselves back into contention for the “Chase.”
