SCOTT RIGGS QUOTES:
“Darlington is a fun racetrack and certainly a “drivers” track. It is fast and narrow. Times fall off considerably after running a couple of laps on new tires which makes pit stops very important there. I have had good cars and bad cars at Darlington. If your car is not good it’s a miserable race, there is not even enough room to get out of the way, making it easy to get caught up in accidents. I feel like I have the best chance this weekend of running well at Darlington that I have ever had in a cup car.”
“Our last four races have been okay. This Stanley Tools/Valvoline Dodge has run strongly and we are still going through some growing pains with the team, myself included, making mistakes here and there. As we keep working on our consistence and getting those things ironed out I think we will be looking at top fives instead of top tens.”
