Team: No. 16 National Guard/ Subway Ford Fusion
Crew Chief: Doug Richert
Chassis: RK-382 Brand new car
Biffle on racing at Daytona International Speedway:
“Daytona was where I had my first Cup Series win and for that reason the July race at Daytona is always one I look forward to. A win at Daytona is something you never forget and it would be incredible to do it again. We just need to stay out of trouble this week. We’ve made up a lot of ground in the points these last few weeks and if we can just keep up this string of top-10 finishes, we’ll be in good shape.”
Crew Chief Doug Richert on racing at Daytona International Speedway:
“We’re taking a brand new racecar to Daytona this week. We built it based on a lot of the things we have learned at Daytona July races in the past. The main thing we will be focusing on is getting the car to turn well in the heat. That will be crucial and we had the car built with that in mind. If we can stay out of the wrecks and be there with the top-10 at the end of the race, I’ll be happy.”
